Your tasks and responsibilities

• Define display application roadmaps based on deep application and system knowledge in the consumer and automotive environment
• Align target product specifications and product roadmaps with end customers, R&D, product management and marketing
• Drive the definition of application or customer specific performance and reliability test setups
• Ensure the success of customer specific projects by coordinating OEMs, panel makers, and internal stakeholders
• Plan and execute feasibility studies for innovative display and product concepts
• Execute technical trainings and benchmark evaluations as well as supply of reference designs and application notes
• Help the team to grow and finally manage a group of highly qualified engineers

Your education and experiences

• University degree in electrical engineering, physics, material science or related
• Several years of display industry expertise based on long-term technical customer interaction track record and practical experiences with laboratory measurements
• A well-founded understanding of display systems, driving conditions, in combination with basic understanding of miniaturized LEDs
• Deep knowledge of display technologies and latest trends (e.g. microLED transfer methods or color conversion)
• Expert in cross-functional and intercultural collaboration paired with a high level of personal commitment and social skills
• Communicative and team-oriented personality with an independent, structured and goal-oriented way of working and the ability to present and communicate technical issues well
• Excellent English language skills
• German language skills are desired
• Willingness for business travel circa 30%
