Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates for an Electronic Lab Technician position, within the Electronics Division of an important company, located in Busto Arsizio, Italy.
The candidate will join a young and motivated R&D team and will be responsible for the prototyping and testing of digitally controlled inverters for induction heating applications.
Job Responsibilities:- The candidate will work closely with multi-disciplinary groups including Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, System Engineering and Reliability;
- The ideal candidate should be familiar with standard electronic lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeter, signal generators, etc.) and must possess basic good skills of electronic board testing and prototyping (SMD soldering is a must);
- A basic understanding of power electronics engineering, analog electronics and microprocessor architecture is also a prerequisite.
In this role, the candidate will:- Prototype and test and debug digital control of AC-AC inverters;
- Execute electronic test plans, including EMC/EMI and electric safety testing;
- Work closely with HW designers and System Engineers to ensure the correct understanding of testing protocols;
- Dive into and take ownership for electronic board debug;
- Participate in design validation and testing reviews;
- Prepare test reports;
- Set-up test benches to automate testing procedures.
Competence Requirements:- Perito Industriale Diploma or Bachelor (3yrs) Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering;
- Some past experience in prototyping, debugging and testing of microcontroller based embedded electronics, involving sensors, actuators, communication protocols, algorithms optimized for embedded.
