Our German client, a leading worldwide supplier of high performance semiconductor and sensor solutions is looking for a talented professional:
Account Director - Optical Sensor Sales - Automotive - Munich, GERMANY
Tasks & Responsibilities- Develops the Automotive Customer Sales and Marketing strategy
- Identifies market trends and relevant products/solutions in target applications for the respective customer, providing input to R&D, BLs, and Application Marketing
- Leverages existing network to build close relationships with customers to drive business and gain market understanding
- Drives business and cross-selling at customer
- Participates in (global) conferences/trade fairs
- Drives ‘beyond budget’ EMEA / Global Automotive revenue achievement and ecosystem Design-Wins
- Drives further development of ecosystem play (incl. partnerships, applications, customers, etc.)
- Reports into VP Automotive EMEA
- Holds the overall responsibility for developing the Automotive customer in terms of Revenue, Design Win, Customer profitability
- Challenges other regions regarding global accounts to ensure focus and drive on Automotive segment
- Provides guidance and strategic direction
Qualifications
- Master's degree, preferably Engineering
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good knowledge of the European automotive market
- Experience managing indirect teams
- Self motivated, assertive, persuasive and creative problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent commercial understanding
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Ability to work with and influence all levels of customer management up to and including directors and executive team members.
- Fluent in German language
- Willing to travel up to 30%
