As a Platforms Embedded Software Engineer in the Secure Software IP team you will be responsible for bringing up, developing and maintaining the development and test environments for different platforms. Furthermore, you will discuss, align with and support architects to propose and evaluate different concepts for cross platforms development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and port the test operating system (TOS) for embedded targets
• Design, develop and support the build environment
• Align with architects (SW, Test, Security) and provide guidance to design, propose and evaluate different technical concepts for cross platforms development
• Align with architects to design and implement various features into the test OS or build system
• Pre/Post silicon setup and environment bring up
• Ensure the functionality of the development and test environments across different platforms and guide/train team members
• Drive together with the architects the Hardware/Software systems integration

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Microelectronics Engineering or similar
• 2+ years of relevant working experience
• Proven knowledge in C/C++ or Assembly
• Hands-on experience in embedded systems development
• Knowledge of build systems and scripting language
• Knowledge of standard bus communication protocol (e.g. UART, SPI, I2C, etc.)
• Good knowledge of CPU architecture (preferably ARM or RISC-V)
• Knowledge of different toolchain is highly appreciated (e.g. ARMCC, IAR, GCC, etc.)
• English fluency
