On behalf of our Swiss client, a leading worldwide supplier of high performance engineering solutions, operating in various fields as Oil&GAS,Power Generation,Chemicals and etc., we are searching for:

Responsibilities:

• You are responsible for the team management and for the flawless, professional handling of automation engineering orders within the scope of business projects
• You are leading a group of 2-3 direct reports in the personnel and technical areas
• You set the objectives for your own area and your employees, derived from the objectives given for the Operations and Engineering area
• You support the employees and the organization with your technical competences and promote individual training and further education
• You ensure support for sales offices during the sales phase in terms of technical specifications and cost calculations, considering applicable regulations, quality, production and deadlines
• You supervise the technical and commercial processing of orders within the group and partially carry out themselves
• You are carrying out the monthly group reporting and support the Head Engineering in budgeting the group
•  Travel within Europe, approx. 10 - 15%

Required Skills & Knowledge:

• Technical or University degree (Bachelor or Master) in the field of Electrical Engineering
• Several years of professional experience in the area of instrumentation and automation of process plants and knowledge of ATEX
• Management experience in an international environment
• High level of customer orientation and team player personality    
• Fluency in English and German language  + French  language is an advantage

Soft Skills:

•  You are flexible and reliable, you identify yourself as
communicative, goal and team-oriented and you are willing to travel occasionally

Work place: Basel area, Swiss 

We expect the flexibility and willingness to travel extensively, also at short notice. Candidates with valid permits from EU or Switzerland have first consideration.
