Tasks and responsibilities

• Responsible for software solution architecture and design decisions
• Candidate should be skilled at designing and implementing sophisticated solutions on par with what one would expect to see in a highly visible consumer product.
• Codes to standards and integrate with existing solutions
• Definition of overall software system design and architecture
• Specification and development of software modules for sensor systems
• Integration of embedded components (drivers, com. protocols, etc.)
• Integration of GUI with embedded components (drivers, com. protocols, etc.)
• Source for customer facing technical documentation content
• Reference application development
• Self-starter, proactive, and self-sufficient in problem solving and accomplishment of tasks

Education and Experiences

• Bachelor in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in professional software development for embedded systems
• Windows application and software development experience for stand-alone GUI applications and architectures.
• Knowledge of digital development interfaces for embedded systems
• Knowledge of Software and Firmware architectures topics
• Broad knowledge of programming languages (C, C++, Assembler, Python, etc.) and scripting languages for use in a lab environment
• Good troubleshooting skills
• Highly flexible, extroverted personality, inspiring and motivating
• Self-starter, proactive, and self-sufficient in problem solving and accomplishment of tasks
