Our Swiss client, a leading worldwide supplier of high performance optical sensors is in search of a:

Responsibilities:

• Management of an acoustic lab to measure and validate performance of optical microphones
• Maintain lab setup and perform acoustic measurements
• Develop reference designs/demo kits for optical microphone
• Provides 3rd level customer support
• Drive the verification of system functionality and KPIs during development and at validation phase
• Interact in specification of new components/modules to fit optimally to their targeted system application

Qualifications / Skills:

• 5+ years’ experience in design of electronic systems
• Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Knowledge of acoustics, ideally know-how in the area of microphones
• Knowledge of testing and characterization in an electronics or acoustic lab is advantageous
• Self-starter, and self-sufficient in problem solving and accomplishing tasks
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Experience with FPGA platforms and development is advantageous
