They are seeking an Electric Machines- FEM Simulation / Design Engineer to join their passionate team of young professionals in Munich; Germany. Their work is in innovative projects for the automotive sector, with strong ties to manufacturing as prototypes are brought to mass production. Creativity and innovation can translate to patents.
Role & Responsibilities- Design and optimize electric machines according to customers requests
- Support project acquisition through quick and reliable pre-study
- Build models and tools to support efficient developments
- Hands-on lab testing to compare simulations and prototype performances
- Idea and concept generation, innovation for differentiating from the competition
- Simulations and sizing of gears and gearboxes concepts to be integrated with the electric motor and its controller
- Close collaboration with the team composed of electronic and mechanical engineers
- Interesting and innovative projects in the automotive field - Strong link with a manufacturing group which targets to bring our innovation into mass production - Space to express ist creativity with prototyping capacity
- Required Skills

Masters or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Energy Conversion
3-5 yrs electric machines simulations experience
Finite Element Software (Altair Flux2D/3D, FEMM, etc)
System modelling Software (Simulink, Matlab, etc)
3D CAD system (Solidworks)
English fluency
German language skills
Teamwork
