Our multinational client, a leader in the manufacture of optoelectronic components, is in search of experts for their headquarters in Germany, specifically for a:

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Development of metrology processes in compound semiconductor technology with focus on optical wafer defect inspection
• Development of robust inspection processes in an innovative surrounding
• Evaluation and procurement of new development and production tools for new products
• Transfer of new processes from development to production
• Continuous improvement activities
• Contribution to multi-disciplinary and global project-/problem-solving teams

Qualifications:

• University degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualifications
• Experience in material and semiconductor metrology beneficial
• Experience in development and application of metrology processes in semiconductor industry, preferably in a R&D environment
• Goal-oriented and analytical working style combined with a high motivation
• Excellent language skills (English a must, German a plus)
• Willingness to travel for 10% of time
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a team
