Our multinational client, a leader in the manufacture of optoelectronic components, is in search of experts for their headquarters in Germany, specifically for a:

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Autonomous planning, execution and evaluation of tasks covering wafer sorting, wafer handling, SMIF infrastructure and data acquisition and data handling (space)
• Hardware Integration Support of fully automated tools (SMIF) within a new III-V semiconductor fab jointly with the tool responsible engineers
• Wafer Sorting / Handling / Logistics 
• Data acquisition and handling (statistical process control)
• SMIF Hardware integration into fab concept
• Exchange with others within the project and process network, especially tool specific process engineers & technicians as well as IT engineers

Qualifications

• Successfully accomplished studies of electrical engineering, mechatronics or mechanical engineering or similar studies, OR technical apprenticeship and professional experience with semiconductor fab automation
• Experience in the area of fab automation, wafer grippers, OCR readers
• Experience in the area of data acquisition and handling (statistical process control)
• Autonomous and thorough work skills
• good team and communication skills
• business fluent understanding of English
• skills in German desirable for communication with locals
• willigness to travel globally
