Our German client, a leading worldwide supplier of high performance semiconductor sensor solutions is in search of a:

Tasks and responsibilities

• Responsible for hardware solution architecture and design decisions
• Technical support interface for Marketing, System Engineering, FAE, FSE and customers (2nd level and design-in support)
• Drafting application notes, articles and presentations
• Setup of product presentations and trainings for customers and internal staff
• Specification of reference applications for target markets including system architectures, circuits and components
• Development of PCB reference designs including testing, characterization and validation
• Measurements setup and methods based on custom automation systems
• Performance analysis of company and competitive products. Tear down of end user devices including evaluation reports
• Involvement on all technical aspects of products in production, and therefore, being an integral part of the definition and development of future products
• Support Marketing and Engineering in work statement preparation

Education and Experiences

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field of study
• Extensive knowledge of embedded systems and software
• Experience with ARM based processors
• 5+ years’ experience in design of PCBs
• Experienced at testing and characterization in an electronics lab
• Self-starter, and self-sufficient in problem solving and accomplishing tasks
• Experience in optical systems
• Fluent in English in speaking and writing
